The statement of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has come out on this whole matter. He has said that this is a very disgusting attack on him. He is shown drinking in alcohol and in underpants in the cartoon printed in the French magazine Charley Hebdo. In this cartoon, President Erdogan is seen lifting the skirt of a woman wearing a hijab. The magazine printed the cartoon of Turkish President on the front page and wrote in the caption that Erdogan is quite funny alone.
