Hollywood director Francis Ford Coppola has once again become the subject of discussion. Director Francis has denied actress Winona Ryder's claim that she asked Keanu Reeves and other actors to insult her on the set of 'Bram Stalkers Dracula' in 1992. In an interview to the media, Ryder claimed that Coppola asked the actors to make derogatory remarks to make them cry during the shooting. The actress said that Reeves and Anthony Hopkins refused to be involved in this work.

According to foreign media reports, the 81-year-old filmmaker has stated that the events did not exactly happen as Ryder had reported, but admitted that she asked Gary Oldman, who is playing Dracula, to set up some scary scenes for her and others and asked to speak bad words in a loud voice. However, Coppola said that this was usually done as a part of getting the best performance soon during the shoot.

In an interview given to the media, Ryder said that during a scene in which she had to cry, Coppola started shouting at her with derogatory remarks. According to the actress, the filmmaker called her a 'prostitute'.
