Berlin: In the 16th round of Bundesliga action, Eintracht Frankfurt came back to overcome Borussia Monchengladbach for the fourth time in a row, thanks to Daichi Kamada's goal on the road. On Wednesday night, the hosts got off to the greatest possible start as the 'Foals' scored their first goal of the game when Joe Scally's lay-up via header allowed Florian Neuhaus to slot in from 14 metres in the 6th minute.

The early goal eased the tension in the game, since scoring chances were few for the majority of the first half. According to reports, Monchengladbach controlled possession but could only muster a half-chance through Alassane Plea in the 26th minute.

Despite the fact that Frankfurt posed no threat, the "Eagles" were able to tie the game against the run of play when Borussia defender Denis Zakaria lost the ball near the penalty area and Jesper Lindstrom squared the ball to Rafael Santos Borre, who made no mistake to tap home from close range in the dying seconds of the first half. Frankfurt got off to a dream start in the second half, with Lindstrom having all the time and space he needed to turn the tides after 50 minutes.
