New Delhi: On Sunday, CBI  raided 20 locations across the country, including Delhi, on a complaint of alleged irregularities in conducting joint entrance examinations for admission to engineering colleges. the CBI has filed a case against Infinity Education Private Limited and its directors for alleged irregularities in the case.

In the same case, CBI spokesperson R C Joshi said that CBI has registered a case against the directors of the institute, the directors of the institute, colleagues and touts and the staff posted in the examination center and other unidentified persons. He said that action has been taken against those involved in the case in various cities including Pune, Jamshedpur besides Delhi-NCR.

In this case, CBI says that the directors of Infinity Education Pvt Ltd, which is in Noida, had ready a complete system of better ranking in JEE Mains. Their agents are spread across many parts of India. These agents used to contact low ranking students in JEE Mains and assure them of better ranking and enrolment in top NIT institutes. 12 to 15 lakhs. It may be mentioned that jee mains examination was conducted by NTA from 26th August to 2nd September at all exam centres across the country. It is said that the 'Ansar Ki' official portal of the exam is said to be released tomorrow on September 4.
