French Open 2018: Saina, Sindhu, Srikanth eye to win title

The French Open is all set to begin on Tuesday and it will take a special performance to be the victor at the BWF World Tour Super 750 event. This time Indian badminton stars Kidambi Srikanth, P V Sindhu and Saina Nehwal will represent nation for the first major BWF title of the year.

1-Kidambi Srikanth was defending champion in the prominent event. Apart from Srikanth, the other Indians in the men’s singles are B Sai Praneeth and Sameer Verma. On a related note in the quarterfinals of Denmark Open Srikanth beat Verma in a marathon battle. Srikanth being a semifinalist has very little time to recover after a chaotic. Worth mention here Srikanth will face world number 22 Wong Wing Ki Vincent in the first round

2-Talking about women, World number 10 Saina did well to the reach the Denmark Open final on Sunday before having defeat to nemesis and top-ranked Tai Tzu Ying. She will take on 37th-ranked Saena Kawakami.

3-World number three Sindhu will be playing as a fresher, having made a sudden first round way out in Odense. She will cross the swords with 11th-ranked Beiwen Zhang .

4-Ashwini Ponnappa will be playing only mixed doubles this week, alongside Satwiksairaj Rankireddy
