French policemen arrested for following racism: Emmanuel Macron

PARIS: French authorities confined four police officers on Friday. French President Emmanuel Macron mark his words on the video footage showing several police officers beating up a black music producer was "unacceptable" and "shameful" for the country.

The video suspected was of beating and racially abusing a black music producer in Paris on which the French President shows his concern. The President in a series of tweets said proposals were also needed to fight more effectively against all types of discrimination on Friday. The video was carried by Loopsider, an online news website that shows said see how music producer Michel Zecler is repeatedly beaten by officers for several minutes and subjected to racial abuse as he tried to enter his music studio last weekend. Zecler was walking without a facial mask, which was against the country's safety measures, and tried to hide in his studio to avoid fines when a police car appeared. But the police allegedly followed him inside and attacked him. Later, a security camera video was published on Thursday by Loopsider. The incident has led to a fresh investigation of the country's security forces.

Many celebrities including football World Cup winners Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann sentenced to the beating, while French star singer Aya Nakamura said she wished the producer strength, adding "thank you to those who filmed". Now as the reports say, the three police officers were identified in the video and have been suspended and taken into custody for further investigation, according to the Paris Prosecutor's office.
