Fresh batch of pilgrims left for Buddha Amarnath pilgrimage

Jammu, Today, a new batch of 1,166 pilgrims left for Budhha Amarnath mountainous shrine in Poonch district from the Jammu base camp.

According to the police official, “ the third batch of pilgrims who left in a convoy of 34 vehicles includes 812 males, 295 females and 59 children”.

In the tight security of CRPF personnel, the bath has been sent.

Buddha Amarnath Temple, dedicated to Hindu deity Shiva, is one of the oldest shrines of Jammu region. It is located in the village of Rajpura in tehsil Mandi of Poonch district.
