In which it was told that instead of Sunday, Friday will start to be a weekly holiday and now the controversy about it is increasing. On the other hand, the state government has ordered an inquiry into the matter. Recently, the news came to light that the weekly holiday on Sunday was changed to Friday under the pressure of local Muslims in many schools in the Jamtara district. According to local sources, the weekly off day has been changed in primary schools in the Karamatand and Narayanpur villages of Jamtara. Many children from caste and religions study in these schools, though 70 per cent of the students come from Muslim families. In such a situation, one of the main reasons for the closure of schools on Fridays is that Muslims offer Friday prayers. At the same time, there is also a mention of the change in the weekly holiday on the notice board of these schools.
