A youth of Koilari village of Chandavak police station area of Varanasi, Jaunpur district has been slain by colleagues after drinking liquor on Saturday evening. This matter has come up recently. In this case, the body was buried in the ground on the bank of the canal in the village of Taran of Chandwak police station and on the second day the father's mobile phone ranged and demanded a ransom of 3 lakh rupees. The police have arrested an accused in this case and have exposed the case.

According to the police, "Surendra Pratap Singh Bittu (24) son Ajay Kumar Singh, a resident of Koilari, had gone to get wheat from the bike on Saturday evening. He did not return till late evening. When the family members shook the phone, it was switched off. Family members were looking for him that on Sunday morning someone from Surendra's mobile called Father Ajay and said that his son is in possession. If we do not give 3 lakh rupees, then he will be killed." Ajay Singh gave this information to the police. On the other hand, with the help of surveillance, the police investigated Sonam Rajbhar, a resident of Amrauna village and detained him, and in his interrogation, the accused revealed the incident and under his guise canal in Taran village, the buried body was recovered.

After that, Chandan called Surendra by calling and took him along to the canal shore in Karhat Purve. During that time he first gave him liquor and then slit the throat with a pot. Later on, the banks of the canal took him to the ground for burial. But Chandan suspected that if he is alive, he also strangled the throat.
