One of the most loved actors Brahmanandam needs no introduction. He became popular in all over India after doing small comic role in South India. He was in almost every South Film at one time. Today he the comedy king of South Industry is celebrating his Birthday. On his Birthday have a look on his interesting journey.

Brahmanandam was born on 1 February 1956 in Mupalla village of Satenapalli district of Andhra Pradesh. The financial condition of his family was very bad. He was the only person in the whole family who studied till MA. After post graduation, he joined Attilli College as a Telugu lecturer. In college, he often used to make students laugh by doing mimicry. From a poor boy to the highest-paid comedian his journey is inspirable. 

Brahmanandam has received various awards in life span. Once he got the Best Supporting Artist prize in the Inter College Drama Competition, after which his interest increased further towards drama. In the meantime, Jandhayala, director of well-known Telugu films, saw Brahmanandam acting for the first time in a drama named 'Moddabai'. Jandhila was so impressed by his acting that he offered a small role to Brahmanandam in a film named 'Chantababai' and Brahmanadam's film career started with this film.

The popularity of Brahmanandam is such that every director of South wants to take him in his film. Brahmanandam was the first choice for every film between 1990 and 2005. Whether it is the role of the hero's friend or a supporting role in the film, all of them take Brahmanandam in the film and thus Brahmanandam acted in almost every film that came out between 1990 and 2005.
