Television's Naagin i.e. Mouni Roy is celebrating her birthday today. Mouni Roy was born on 28 September 1985 in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. Mouni Roy has created a special place in the hearts of the audience with her beauty and acting on both the small and big screens. Mouni Roy has worked not only in the world of television but also with many of the best actors of Bollywood. Let us tell you some special things related to Mouni Roy on her birthday…  

Mouni Roy's journey from a back dancer to Brahmastra was not easy. Mouni Roy was born in a Bengali family. Mouni wanted to make a career in the entertainment world from the very beginning. Mouni also did her schooling from West Bengal. Thereafter, she graduated from Miranda House College, Delhi University. Not only this, Mouni's parents wanted her to become a journalist. For which they also got Mouni's admission in the Mass Communication course of Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. But Mouni Roy's interest was always in the entertainment world. Because of this Mouni left her Mass Communication studies in the middle and after that, she came to Mumbai. In this way, most of Mouni's fans think that she started her career with television serials, but it is not so. She started her career as a background dancer.

Thereafter, Mouni made her TV debut in Ekta Kapoor's most popular serial 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' opposite Krishna Tulsi. After that, she earned a lot of name by working in many serials including 'Naagin', 'Naagin 2', 'Kasturi', and 'Junoon- Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq'. In today's time, Mouni is counted not only among television actresses but also among Bollywood actresses. But Mouni's Bollywood connection is a bit old. Mouni tried her hand at Bollywood films. Mouni has seen many ups and downs in her 11-year career. Mouni Roy started her film career with the 2011 Punjabi film Hero Hitler in Love. She played the role of Sahiban in this film. Mouni then voiced the role of Sita in the 2016 Hindi animated film Mahayoddha Ram. The same year 2018 was very lucky for Mouni, This year she appeared in the film Gold as Akshay Kumar's wife. In 2019, Mouni Roy also appeared in the Hindi film Made in China with actor Rajkumar Rao, although the film could not do anything special on the big screen. Apart from these, Mouni gave a tremendous performance in her recent film Brahmamastra.
