Dehradun: Due to the summer holidays, now the extra rush of passengers has started in the trains. In view of this rush and in view of their convenience, the concerned zonal railways are also working to add additional coaches in the existing trains. Along with this, many special trains are also being operated from time to time. In this direction, the North Eastern Railway has now decided to add additional coaches of different classes in the trains operating between the states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar and Jharkhand.
According to the spokesperson of the North Eastern Railway, keeping in view the extra rush in the trains, additional coaches are being installed in many Summer Express trains for the convenience of the passengers. Additional coaches are being added especially in Lucknow Jn.- Kathgodam Express and Gorakhpur-Hatia Express trains. With this decision, rail movement of passengers will become easier. Also, they will be able to get more berths in the existing trains. Additional coaches will be added to these special trains as follows:-
Lucknow Jn. 01-01 additional coaches of Sleeper Class and Air-conditioned Third Class will be fitted in 15043 Lucknow Jn.- Kathgodam Express running from May 29, 2022.
15028 Gorakhpur-Hatia Express running from Gorakhpur on May 28, 2022 will be fitted with one additional coach of Sleeper class.
