Dehradun: Devbhoomi Sattal is an untouched area made up of seven freshwater lakes surrounded by pine, oak and deodar trees amidst the amazing beauty of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Sattal is famous for its greenish-blue coloured water, which lulls those who come for self-realization into a state of meditation and ecstasy. Uttarakhand Tourism Department has now started a new initiative for the people visiting this picturesque area. Zorbing (a transparent giant rubber ball that holds a human inside) over the clear waters of Sattal is a favourite of both kids and adults alike.
