Lucknow: A forensic lab report in the Lakhimpur violence case in Uttar Pradesh confirmed the firing. Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni's son Ashish Mishra and his close aide Ankit Das have confirmed firing in the ballistic report of the licensed firearm. It has become clear from this that during the violence in Tikunia, bullets were also fired from licensed weapons.

During the Lakhimpur violence, farmers also raised the issue of firing by BJP leaders. Lakhimpur police had seized Ankit Das's repeater gun, pistol and Ashish Mishra's rifle and revolver to investigate and the four guns were sent for FSL investigation. Whose report confirmed the firing. FSL report revealed that a bullet was shot from Ashish Mishra's licensed weapon, but it is not yet clear whether the firing was caused by a rifle or a revolver. Ashish Mishra and Ankit Das are now facing difficulties after the forensic lab report, both of them are currently in jail.
