Fuel prices remain unchanged after cut for straight 13 days

The prices of Petrol and diesel on Wednesday had no decrease, after a plunge in the prices for straight 13 days. The price of petrol in the national capital Delhi remained at Rs 79.55 per litre . While The  petrol in financial capital Mumbai was Rs 85.04 per litre. These prices were same on Tuesday.

However, the diesel price in the national capital witnessed a drop of 7 paise and it was retailed at Rs 73.78 per litre but the diesel price in Mumbai was steady at Rs 77.32 per litre.

In Chennai, the petrol price was at Rs 82.65 per litre while diesel was for Rs 78 per litre. In Kolkata, petrol and diesel prices were at Rs 81.43 per litre and Rs 75.63 per litre respectively.

Worth mention here Fuel prices had earlier witnessed a harsh increase in the country.However, the M Modi led Centre earlier this month announced a drop of Rs 2.50 per litre on both petrol and diesel prices after reduction of excise duty on the commodity by Rs 1.50 per litre.

The oil prices globally increased for the first time in three days on Wednesday, but increasing supply and fears over the outlook for demand in the midst of the US-China trade conflict kept stress on the market.
