Dehradun: Pakistan is constantly violating the ceasefire. Lance Naik Sandeep Thapa, the heroic son of Uttarakhand, was martyred during Pak firing in Jammu and Kashmir. He was posted in The Naushera sector. For the country's Ahn, Ban, Shan, he sacrificed his life. He was a resident of The Paudwala area of Rajawala area of Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.

In June this year, he took a 10-day leave and came home. They were married in 2013 and have a 3-and-a-half-year-old son. His family has been associated with the Indian Army for 5 generations.  His father is also a retired soldier from the Indian Army. His grandfather and grandfather were also in the Indian Army. The family members of the martyr are also mourning with pride.

Family members say Pakistan should give a befitting reply. Family members say Pakistan seems to have forgotten the Balakot Air Strike, so there should be another airstrike. On the morning of August 18, the funeral of martyr Sandeep Thapa will be performed with full military honours. The locals are very angry and have demanded a major action against Pakistan from the government.
