Unnao: In Uttar Pradesh's Bihar area of Unnao, on Sunday, last rites of the rape victim amidst strong security arrangements. On this occasion, apart from the Yogi government minister Swami Prasad Maurya and Kamal Rani Varun, along with the divisional commissioner Mukesh Meshram, high officials of the district and police administration were also present.

Earlier on the insistence of calling CM Yogi Adityanath, the family members of the victim refused to cremate the body, but later agreed to persuade the Mandalayukta. The victim's body was buried in her ancestral farm outside the village, next to her grandmother's tomb. During this time a large number of police forces and some villagers were present. Later, two ministers of the Yogi government also made his presence known at the funeral.

Let us tell you that the rape victim was set ablaze in the early hours of Thursday morning in the village of Hindunagar Bhatan Kheda in Bihar Police Station area, when she left home for the railway station to go to Rae Bareli to meet her lawyer. was. The victim was airlifted to Lucknow and later airlifted to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi where she succumbed late Friday night.
