May 07,2016,Saturday:Pranab Mukherjee,the President of India today presented Gallantry Awards and Distinguished Service Decorations to Defence personnel at a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. 

President presented these awards and other decorations to the brave soldiers.

President also deliberated the Param Vishisht Seva Medal,Kirti Chakra, Uttam Yudh Sewa Medal, Atti vishisht Sewa Medal and Shaurya Chakra.

Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and three services Chiefs were present in the ceremony.
