Vizianagaram, Today police arrested as many as 16 persons for gambling and over Rs 5 lakh cash was seized from them.
Vizianagaram police said that "a raid was conducted at a lodge here by the sleuths of special branch, in which 16 persons were arrested and over Rs 5 lakh in cash was seized from them."
Seventeen mobile phones were also recovered from their possession, added police.
The convict was arrested and handed over to I Town Police Station for investigation, according to police.
