Bengaluru: These days, the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated with great pomp in India and Muharram has also started during this time. In such a situation, a great example of harmony has been seen in the Bidanal area of Dharwad Districts of Hubli. In this area, Hindus and Muslims are celebrating Ganesh Parva and Muharram together in the same pandal. Here, whenever the date of the festival of these two collides, similarly Ganesh Chaturthi and Muharram are organized under the same pandal. The people of this place have to say that this has happened before and we are taking the same tradition forward.

A devotee Mohan has said while discussing with the media that similar celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi and Muharram of the same pandal have been celebrated here earlier. We are following the same tradition. At the same time, Maulana Zakir Qazi said that in every 30-35 years, the dates of Ganesh Chaturthi and Muharram collide. No Hindu or Muslim person is alone in this village, both come together. We are all children of God.

For your information, let us tell you that Ganesh Chaturthi has started in India from August 22 and in view of the Corona era, different guidelines have been issued in each state regarding the festival. At the same time, the Supreme Court has refused to grant permission to take the crown of Muharram. The court has said that this demand cannot be accepted as it may put people's health and their lives in danger.
