Reality show participant Ganesh Venkatraman is celebrating his 43rd birthday today, 20th March, 2023.

Ganesh Venkataraman was born on 20 March 1980. Actor who has risen to fame for his Bollywood film career throughout the India's various regions. He won the Edison Award for best-supporting actor in 2009 for his work on the Tamil thriller film Unnaipol Oruvan.

He was one of the contestant in Big Boss show - season 1, which was hosted by Kamal Haasan. Many participants like Oviya, Aarav, Gayathri Raghuram and others were also part of this show. 

Ganesh made his acting debut in television serials including Antriksh and Mayavi Maling, which was the first 3D serial in Tamil television. He made his film debut in Hyderabadi Urdu with an experimental crossover film shooting The Angries (2006), but he could not get any further films. Subsequently, he made his debut in Tamil cinema with Radha Mohan's family drama, Abhimaan Naanum (2008). Ganesha successfully auditioned for the role in Mumbai, posing as a Sikh character in the film, leading the producers to believe that he is indeed a Punjabi. 

His role as Trisha's Punjabi fiancée received applause and the film performed well at the box office. After working with Prakash Raj in his second film, Ganesh received several offers to appear in supporting roles in films. He appeared in the bilingual film Unnaipol Oruvan (2009) alongside Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal and Venkatesh while working as a police officer, while he then played an army general in Major Ravi's war film Kandahar. , Where he appeared alongside Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan.

He also shot and completed a thriller film titled Muriyadi with Satyaraj alongside Selvara, but the film failed to make a theatrical release due to Kavithai Productions' financial troubles. During this period, Ganesh also chose another Mankatha (2011) and instead chose to work on another bilingual Tamil and Hindi film, Panithuli (2012), in a solo lead role. The film shot entirely in the US, got negative reviews, and performed poorly at the box office. In addition, he appeared alongside another veteran actor, Nagarjuna, during the making of Damarukam (2012).
