New Delhi: A case of gang rape of a young woman by feeding her intoxicating substance at a hotel in Delhi's Vasant Kunj area has come to light. In her complaint, the girl has told the police that an obscene video of her was also made during the rape. After which she was threatened and driven out of the hotel. After conducting a medical test of the victim and recording her statement, the Vasant Kunj North police have registered a case of gang rape and started an investigation.
The 23-year-old victim said in her complaint that she is a resident of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh. In her complaint to the police, she said that six months ago, she had met a man named Kulwinder through social media after which the two exchanged each other's numbers. Several times Kulwinder called the victim and called her. This time Kulwinder told the victim that he was going to Germany and he wanted to meet her once in Delhi, after which the victim reached Delhi to meet Kulwinder. Kulwinder had booked a room at Hotel Parodu in Vasant Kunj.
The victim also reached the hotel where Kulwinder was present in the room. After the two had dinner, Kulwinder gave the victim some intoxicating substance, after which she fell unconscious after drinking it. Kulwinder and his friends then gang-raped the girl. Not only this, Kulwinder and his accomplices also made a video of the victim and threatened her that if she complained to the police, they would make the video viral. Ongoing home, the victim narrated the entire incident to her family members. Following which the police have registered a case under sections of gang rape and death threat.
