New Delhi: Police have unearthed a gang in the case of kidnapping minor girls and forcibly getting them married. The members of this gang kidnap minor girls and then sell them in different districts of Haryana. Six people including three women involved in the gang have been arrested. During interrogation, it has come to know that this gang has carried out many such incidents.
About two weeks ago a minor girl went missing from Chhapraula in Greater Noida. After this, the Badalpur police station registered a case and the police team started searching for the girl. A few days later, the team found evidence of the girl getting married in Sonipat after the kidnap. After this the police reached the girl. Giving information, SO Badalpur Dinesh Singh has said that this case is related to women trafficking.
Police said that Nazreen resident Hapur, Pooja resident of district Sambhal and Kiran resident of Ghaziabad do this work by forming gangs. So far the police have arrested Jasveer, resident of Sonipat, resident of Nazreen, Babugarh Cantonment Hapur, Pooja resident of Gunnaur district Sambhal, Gauhana resident of Kiran, Sonipat resident of Sunil, Dumb Heady Rohtak and Dharamraj resident of Rohtak. Search is on for their accomplices.
