Ganga bathing is considered very important on this day, but this time the negligence of the people is clearly visible under the guise of bathing.
Every year ganga Dussehra is bathed at Panchal Ghat in Farrukhabad, UP and the same thing is happening today. On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra today, a huge crowd of devotees has gathered at the ghat and people are seen without masks. The administration had made arrangements in view of the Ganga bathing here, but the crowd flouted all arrangements. Devotees from nearby districts including Farrukhabad had started coming here from midnight to bathe in the Ganga.
Devotees who came here for bathing appeared unconcerned about the Corona guideline and everyone was seen without a mask. A similar scene was witnessed at Mehndi Ghat in Kannauj. Thousands of people gathered here too. Not only that, the people who came here did not see any fear of corona. Devotees were seen bathing in the Ganga without wearing masks and without social dispensing.
