Vaishali: In a shocking incident, a boy roaming in the village was caught by the villagers thinking he was a child thief with his mouth tied and beaten up a lot. He was then handed over to the police. Later, it was found that the arrested boy was not a child thief, but criminal absconding in the gang rape case of the minor. The police had been searching for him for the last three days. The police would not have thought that the culprits of gang rape would be caught like this.

The minor was gang-raped in a village in Bihar's Vaishali district on September 10. The video of the gang rape was also made viral by the 5 criminals who carried out the incident. Subsequently, the five criminals fled from the village. In this case, a case was registered against the criminals under the POCSO Act on the complaint of the minor and the police were engaged in searching for them.  

To avoid arrest, the criminals were hiding in nearby villages. On Wednesday, a criminal was hiding in a nearby town with a cloth tied to his mouth. When the villagers saw him, it seemed that he was a 'child thief'. Then, the mob caught him and beat him up a lot. After that, he was handed over to the police. What did the villagers know, which they are thinking of as child lifters, in fact, he is a criminal of gang rape. Police have arrested two more criminals on the basis of information given by the arrested boy. Two criminals are still absconding, whose search is being done by the police. The police would never have thought that the absconding criminals of gang-rape of the minor would be caught like this. Because, since the incident, the police were constantly searching for them. The criminals had troubled the police in the ongoing hide and seek game with the police and the hands of the police were empty for three days.
