Lucknow: Hundreds of criminals have so far surrendered before the police for fear of encounters in Uttar Pradesh. After Meerut, Baghpat, on Monday (October 25, 2021), a history-sheeter in Muzaffarnagar surrendered before the police after succumbing to the crime. The history-sheeter reached the police station with folded hands and vowed never to commit a crime in future. His video has also gone viral while going to Kotwali.

 

City Kotwali in-charge Inspector Anand Dev Mishra has informed that a special case is being launched to nab the culprits on the orders of the SSP. Fearing police action, gangster Bashiruddin, a resident of Khalapar, reached the city of Kotwali and surrendered. He has several cases of theft and stolen goods being disposed of. Muzaffarnagar police tweeted, "The accused wanted in the gangster's case reached the police station and surrendered. The vicious accused reached Thana Kotwali Nagar and surrendered fearing action. The accused is a wanted criminal in the gangster's case from Thana Kotwali Nagar.''

On the other hand, CM Yogi Adityanath's information adviser Shalabh Mani Tripathi also shared a video on Twitter and wrote, "Bahubali also folded his hands when he saw the notorious Basheeruddin of Muzaffarnagar, but Bashiruddin, who ran away from the police station, surrendered himself to the police station with folded hands, this is the new UP.''
