Panaji: The Goa government has decided to undertake a special campaign to encourage corona patients who have recovered and will donate their plasma. Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has announced that if the patients who are healthy with coronavirus donate plasma, then their family will be given special health incentives.

State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has tweeted from his official Twitter handle saying, "The Health Department will encourage patients who have recovered from Corona and willing to donate plasma. Plasma donors will be honoured with certificates by the Health Department. They will be given special health incentives for the members of the donors' families. "

Earlier, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane had said that there may be an increase in cases of corona epidemic in Goa as the rules of social distancing were violated during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in the state. Rane has said in a press conference in Panaji that, "I requested people to avoid gathering during Ganesh Chaturthi festival. But people did not wear masks, congestion of 100-200 people gathered."
