New Delhi: Gautam Adani, founder and chairman of adani group, has now become Asia's second richest man. It is a matter of pride for India that Mukesh Ambani, Asia's richest man, is also from here. Both the richest people in Asia are now from India. Gautam Adani surpasses China's richest man Zhong Shanshan. Zhong Shanshan used to be Asia's richest man until February 2021, but mukesh ambani overtook him.

Stock prices of Gautam Adani's companies listed on the stock exchange are also rising. It may be noted that while Mukesh Ambani's wealth has declined by $175.5 million (Rs 1280.94 crore) last year, Gautam Adani's wealth has increased by $32.7 billion (Rs 2.38 lakh crore), after which his wealth has gone up to $63.6 billion (Rs 4.64 lakh crore).

The increase in Gautam Adani's wealth last year did not go as much as the wealth of elon musk, the world's richest industrialist, or any other billionaire businessman. Mukesh Ambani currently has assets of $76.5 billion (Rs 5.58 lakh crore) and is the 13th richest person in the world. Gautam Adani, who succeeded him, is ranked 14th in the world in this regard. All chinese businessmen except Ambani-Adani are on asia's top 10 rich list.
