NEW DELHI: India's former opener and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has slammed Pakistan's former cricketer Shahid Afridi for visiting the Line of Control (LoC). In fact, the Modi government has recently removed Section 370 of the Constitution from the Valley, after which Afridi had said that he was standing with the people of Kashmir and would visit the Line of Control to express it.

In a series of tweets, Gambhir said, "Guys, in this picture, Shahid Afridi is asking Shahid Afridi that what should Shahid Afridi do next to embarrass Shahid Afridi so that’s it’s proven beyond all doubts that Shahid Afridi has refused to mature!!! Am ordering online kindergarten tutorials for help @SAfridiOfficial" Earlier, Pakistan's PM Imran Khan had announced that a 30-minute program will be held every week in his country to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

Afridi wrote on Twitter on Wednesday that "The Prime Minister should give his support to the Kashmir Hour program launched to support Kashmiris. I will be present at 12 noon on Friday at Mazar-e-Kayed (Mazar of Muhammad Ali Jinnah)." On September 6th, I will go to the martyrs' house and soon I will go to the LOC."
