Waterlogging has occurred in many parts of the national capital and adjacent NCR due to continuous rains since morning. Due to torrential rain, pond-like scenes have started appearing on the route. Regarding this, BJP MP from Delhi Gautam Gambhir has targeted the Aam Aadmi Party government and CM Arvind Kejriwal. Gambhir has shared the video of water logging in Tughlakabad area of Delhi on social media without naming anyone. Tightening the water level, he has told that it is not the 14th century Tughlaq, but the 21st century Tughlaq Delhi.

Waterlogging has occurred in the Tughlakabad region due to the rains being received from Alsubah in Delhi. In the video shared by Gautam Gambhir, some people are seen crossing a waterlogged area on a bullock cart. Meanwhile, due to the pit on the road, the bullock cart eats hiccups, and many people riding on it fall into the water.

Apart from this, news of water logging has been frequent due to rain in Delhi, on which AAP and the leaders of opposition parties keep accusing each other. Even after today's rains, BJP MP and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir has made similar remarks. Earlier, the Meteorological Department (IMD) had released the figures of less rainfall in Delhi during this monsoon season. The department has told in its figures that the national capital Delhi has recorded 72 percent less rainfall than normal so far in August. This is the lowest rainfall record in the last ten years. However, the weather forecast had released rain forecasts in Delhi and surrounding areas this week.
