New Delhi: Geeta, who returned to her country from Pakistan five years ago, is still looking for her home. 28-year-old Geeta cannot listen nor speak, but still, she is travelling around Maharashtra or Telangana to find her family.
Geeta is constantly searching for her parents in the cities of Jalna, Aurangabad of Maharashtra and Telangana. Where her home has been associated with, but she has not been able to succeed so far. However, a lot of people are also helping her in this work, whether local residents or social workers. When Geeta was 8 years old, she accidentally left Pakistan by sitting in Samjhauta Express. In the year 2015, Geeta returned due to the efforts of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, but till date her dream of meeting her parents is incomplete.
After coming back to India, Geeta was kept in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, then the search of her parents and her house is going on till today. It has also become clear through technology that Geeta's family can be somewhere around the Maharashtra-Telangana border. Then the search was started, the DGP of Madhya Pradesh has also appealed to the police of all the states to help find Geeta's family.
