Jaipur: Rajasthan's Gehlot government has banned the hoisting of the saffron flag in Mewar, the land of brave Maharana Pratap, for the next two months. After the imposition of Section 144 in Udaipur, Rajasthan BJP Chief CP Joshi talked about hoisting saffron in the Taliban, after which the political mercury has risen. In the same Congress government, cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas attacked the BJP and said that the BJP is conspiring to incite riots by doing politics to harvest votes in the election year.

At the same time, Khachariawas said, 'Whoever wants to hoist saffron should hoist it; whoever wants to hoist white should hoist it. There is no restriction on hoisting any flag by BJP or Congress people. This is not a fight between saffron-green and white, but a fight for votes. Because after about 10 months, the assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan. In such a situation, no work has been done by the BJP, and the Congress is winning. That's why the BJP is doing politics to create riots. That's why Section 144 has been imposed.

Challenging the BJP, the minister said that if the BJP listens with open ears and tries to spread riots here, they will pick them up and put them in jail. He said that anyone who takes the law in hand, whether it is of any religion or the BJP-Congress, will stop it. It is not the right of anyone to take the law into their hands. On the other hand, BJP state president CP Joshi has attacked the Congress. Joshi said, 'The Rajasthan government is after the temples and religious festivals. He knows what the purpose behind this is. I don't know under whose pressure he has taken such a decision, and I don't know whom he wants to please. Maharana Pratap had hoisted the saffron flag all over Udaipur against the Mughals. Now if we don't hoist the flag in Udaipur, will we hoist it in Taliban? This is a Talibani rule. There is an attempt to stop our festivals. It is unfortunate what the Rajasthan government is doing. Countering BJP state president CP Joshi's statement about hoisting saffron in Taliban, Pratap Singh said that first the BJP should remove green from its flag. There is no green-and-saffron fight here. Now that he has become the new president, that's why he is having dialogues.
