New Delhi: Germany has lifted some-more restrictions amid lower corona cases. It has decided to lift the travel ban (Germany's travel ban removed) from five countries, including India. It has been reported that travel rules will also be softened for passengers coming from these five countries, which were tightened due to the corona crisis.
The five countries from which the travel ban has been lifted are mainly countries where cases of corona delta variants are currently coming to light. According to the information received, concessions have been given to India as well as to the UK, Russia, Portugal, and Nepal. Passengers will be screened for corona when they reach there, they will be admitted on receipt of negative reports. Earlier these five countries were considered 'areas of variant concern.' It has now been downgraded to a 'high incidence area.'
It is reported that earlier if anyone from delta variant countries went to Germany, he had to stay in Quarantine for two weeks. But now only 5 days will have to remain in warranty when the report comes negative. These new rules will come into effect from Wednesday. Moreover, if both corona vaccines are in place and the report comes negative, then concessions will also be provided in quarantine.
