New Delhi: When Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will step in the Parliament on today Feb 1, 2018, he will have a challenge to not just apprehend the 'New India' dream by urging growth, but also meet expectations of 1.324 billion people of India in different sections of society and businesses of the country.

This budget is noteworthy as It would be Modi-led- government's fifth and final full budget which would be presented by Arun Jaitley after GST implementation.

On Thursday morning, FM would brief President Ram Nath Kovind about the budget, which would be followed by a customary cabinet meeting and at last, all eyeballs from Business to Agriculture sector will be on the Parliament at 11 am for budget presentation in the Lok Sabha.

There has been always Excitement and curiosity of every individual when Budget is tabled on the house of Parliament. What's firm is that the budget will be focused on rural development and agriculture sectors apart from the poor. The Economic Survey 2018-19 has already indicated that greater attention is expected for agriculture, employment and education needs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already unveiled his vision for New India, which will be created by 2022.

President Kovind also noted during his joint sitting address on the first day of the Budget session that 2018 is a critical year for the New India mission and the roadmap for a New India is on the cards for the budget.
