Scabies is a skin infestation caused by a very tiny mite. These microscopic mites can live on your skin for up to two months. They reproduce on the surface of your skin and then burrow into your skin and lay eggs. This causes a very itchy, pimple-like rash to form on the skin.
Cayenne pepper
Applying cayenne pepper to the skin can kill scabies mites. One way to use cayenne is to add one cup to hot bathwater, sit in the bath until the water gets cold and then rinse your body. Make sure that the cayenne does not get into your eyes, as it may burn or sting. You can also create a paste with cayenne and add one to two drops of water. Apply the paste to visible burrows beneath the surface of the skin.
Neem oil
Neem oil kills scabies mites and prevents it from growing and breeding. Neem also numbs pain and relieves itching, making it perfect to treat scabies.
Rosemary oil
Rosemary oil also decreases pain and prevents the development of secondary infections. It has the potential power to stop the infestation of scabies.
Turmeric
To get a quick relief from itching, add a few drops of lemon juice to one tablespoon of turmeric and make a paste. Apply it to the area.
