All of you must have always heard that 'get married at the right age of marriage, or else the children will go out of your hands'. This sarcasm is given by every relative in today's time.
Many times people hear this taunt and get married. Due to all these pressures, children are married as soon as they turn 21 but it has a very bad effect. Recently, information about this has been done in research. According to a recent study, people getting married till the age of 21 are more likely to get addicted to drinking alcohol. This research has been done by Virginia Commonwealth University, US, which has also been published in Development and Psychopathology.
Researcher Rebecca Smith has done research on the marital status and alcohol habits of 937 people. In its study, it has come out that youth who marry at a young age consume more alcohol than those who marry at a mature age. Apart from this, the study done by her also showed that after getting married at the age of 21, alcohol consumption increases the risk of life and life after that is not safe.
