Ghaziabad city has reached number one in the list of polluted cities. According to CPCB, AQI was recorded at 396 on Monday, after which it increased on Tuesday, due to which the AQI of the city reached 421. If we talk about the country's pollution, Ghaziabad is the only city whose AQI status is in danger. If we talk about air pollution in the district, the condition of Ghaziabad remains bad. Greater Noida, whose air quality index (AQI) was recorded 395 on Tuesday, became the second most polluted city in the country after Ghaziabad.

The Pollution Control Board has imposed severe penalties for causing so much pollution in the air, due to which, since November, the people who have caused pollution have imposed a fine of more than Rs 50 lakh, but people are not deterred from spreading pollution. Neither there has been any reduction of dust on the roads nor the smoke emanating from the vehicles has decreased. For the last several days, people are not getting rid of the pollution. AQI has remained beyond 300 since December 4. It has reached 400 in the last two days.

The pollution levels of the cities which were below were recorded in the poor category. Vasundhara area was the most polluted in the city. AQI has reached 450 here. The PM ten level was recorded at 441 and PM 2.5 was recorded at 289, while the Loni's AQI was recorded at 423, where PM 10 was 402 and PM 2.5 was 213. AQI of Indirapuram was 418. The level of PM 10 and PM 2.5 was recorded here at 371 and 257. Sanjay Nagar's AQI was 413. Here the PM2.5 level was 213 and the PM10 level was 309.
