Ghaziabad: The corona epidemic has wreaked havoc all around. Among all the administrative officers and staff of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, the district chief himself, district collector Corona, was arrested. Now, after defeating Corona after nearly 26 days, District Collector Ajay Shankar Pandey has again taken over the bagdaur of the district.

Tell us that Ajay Shankar Pandey was hit by the Corona virus on April 24. After which he had a fever and was having breathing problems. He was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Kaushambi on the advice of doctors. IAS Ajay Shankar Pandey was provided an ICU room at the hospital but the district collector left his ICU bed after recovering slightly. The district collector immediately asked to give the ICU bed to someone else in need, refused a single room for himself and shared the room with another covid infected patient in the semi private room.

DM Ajay Shankar Pandey was discharged from Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital on May 6, 2021 this month with a covid negative. More importantly, District Collector Pandey continued to hold meetings on his phones, video calling and online modes. In the absence of the district collector, GDA VC and IAS Krishna Karunesh was in charge, but Ajay Shankar Pandey's work was also going on from the hospital.
