Lucknow: Parvez Alam and Mufti Shahzad have been actively working in western Uttar Pradesh for eight years to prepare a sleeper module for the popular front of India (PFI), a militant Islamist organisation. To make the campaign to make India an Islamic nation successful, they were engaged in the work of connecting the youth with PFI. This information was received by the ATS when the team arrested Mufti Shahzad, a resident of Nekpur village under Muradnagar police station area in Ghaziabad, and recovered two controversial religious books from his possession.  

Police are conducting raids in Kalchhina to search for Parvez Alam. The intelligence team had camped in villages Kalchhina and Nekpur on Saturday. The ATS team raided Nekpur on Wednesday night and nabbed Mufti Shahzad. On Thursday morning, Parvez Alam was caught by raiding village Kalchhina under the Bhojpur police station area, but Muslim women there got entangled with the ATS team, taking advantage of which Parvez Alam escaped.

After which the police challaned his brother and father who were taken into custody under the sections of breach of peace. Even on the third day on Saturday, the team of the Intelligence Department kept camping in the village Kalchina. The team is trying to find out how many PFI members are active in the nearby villages along with Kalchina. It is being told that hundreds of youth are working for PFI in Modinagar and Muradnagar area.
