Hyderabad: Residents of 4,846 municipal colonies have been vaccinated so far in the special immunization drive being conducted in residential colonies by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in collaboration with the Health Department to meet the target of 100% COVID-19 vaccination. But now it is becoming difficult to meet the target of 100% COVID-19 vaccination by GHMC. Because, according to officials, a total of 34,051 including 18,937 families refused vaccination, while residents of 15,114 households did not cooperate. And 31,611 houses were found locked.

According to experts, the third wave of the Kovid epidemic will be less deadly than the second. Because the vaccination program is being run rapidly in the country. About 40 percent of the adult population has already been vaccinated. 60% of adults in the country have been given at least one dose.
