Srinagar: After resigning from the Congress, Ghulam Nabi Azad, who was loyal to the Gandhi family for 50 years, is openly counting the shortcomings of the country's oldest political party. Although Azad had tried to bring the party's attention to this while still in Congress, he was not listened to and his experience was ignored. Now after the resignation, Ghulam Nabi Azad has said that the former president of the party, Rahul Gandhi, is not good for the organization, he is only better for the demonstration.

It is noteworthy that in a letter written to the party's interim president Sonia Gandhi on Friday, Azad had raised questions about the ability of Rahul Gandhi. Talking to the media, Azad said that Rahul is good only for photo ops and dharna politics, but not for the organisation. He said, 'Who should I hold responsible? I have to hold Rahul responsible because he didn't make any effort. My aim was to write everything in the letter and move on. But the party tried to provoke me by making false allegations.'

He said, 'Rahul Gandhi lacks focus. He is good only for photo ops, protests and rallies. Azad says that every Congress person knows that an important decision of the party is taken by Rahul or his security guards and PA.' Let us tell you that, Azad had also said in his statement that, before 2014, Sonia Gandhi used to follow his advice and did not take any decision without asking, but after the arrival of Rahul, big leaders in Congress were ignored and Sonia started wishing that all Congress leaders should work on the behest of Rahul Gandhi. Political pundits are taking the implication of Azad's statements that the biggest reason for the poor condition of the Congress is Sonia Gandhi's son's attachment.
