Millions of years ago, there were giant creatures on earth that, if seen in modern times, would be frightened.  The bones of one such giant parrot have been discovered by scientists in New Zealand, which is believed to have been in the world some 190 million years ago. According to a report by an international team of fossil experts published in the latest edition of 'Biology Letters', the height of this giant parrot will be around one meter (3.3 feet) and weigh about seven kilograms.

At the same time, the researchers also believe that this parrot could possibly fly. But it is not yet known. Fossil experts found the remains of this parrot from St. Baths in southern New Zealand in 2008 and then did not know which bird the remains belonged to and thought it could be a fossil of a large-sized eagle. After nearly 11 years of research, it has been reported that the bones belonged to a giant parrot.

Now, by the fossil experts, the giant body of parrots is named after Heracles Inexopectates, and the Heracles means a giant like Hercules and Inexopectates means to meet in a possible way.
