Gigabyte Added AMD X570 Chipset to Fan Speed Controller

The Ryzen 3000 CPUs set a new strip for CPU performance for the large-scale segment and, like the first-generation Ryzen chips that emerged more than two years ago, caused quite a stir in the computer environment. Along with the new processor, motherboards based on the AMD X570 chipset were also introduced. One of the major drawbacks of the X570 hub is excessive heating, so most motherboards are equipped with active cooling systems. In some cases, overhitting of the chipset stops the PC's emergency, making it impossible to work with in-demand applications and games in normal mode.

On the other hand, the presence of an additional high-speed fan (some models work at speeds of up to 6000 rpm) in the system can annoy many users. Gigabyte decided to integrate three new chipset fan profiles into the latest BIOS-UEFI firmware. With a simple click of the mouse from the Windows application, users can select the mode of "Silent", "Balanced" or "Product" operation.

It is clear that the heat dissipation of a set of system logic is still incomparable with simple processors and graphics chips, so the cooling efficiency on different profiles is not very likely to vary.
