Gorakhpur: Coronavirus has completely changed the lives of many people in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Such a change has come in the life of a female doctor posted in Gorakhpur. The infected doctor recovered from Corona, but for the subsequent problems, she had to go to Hyderabad for treatment.

The doctors there advised her the consumption of milk of a Gir cow. After recovering from the problems, now she got such a passion for the conservation and promotion of the Gir breed that she started a cow shelter. The journey that started with two cows has reached 40. That doctor is Dr. Shruti Jha, posted as Medical Officer in Sahajanwa CHC. She says that she somehow recovered from Corona but the post covid effect made her suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, and depression. Dr. Shruti's elder brother is a doctor at a reputed institute in Hyderabad. The family members took her there for treatment. The doctors there advised the consumption of Gir breed cow's milk along with medicines. Due to its effect, there was a rapid recovery from the treatment. Today blood pressure and sugar are under control without any medicine. Depression has gone.

Started rearing in Semra village of Sahajanwa she told that after returning from Hyderabad, the hobby of rearing Gir breed cows found in Gujarat started. Took land in Semra of Sahjanwa for this. Bought two cows from Gujarat and started a cowshed. She told that slowly acquaintances also started demanding milk. It is almost one and a half times more expensive than normal milk. Even after this, the demand is increasing. Now there are 40 cows in the shed. In which there are 14 calves. Dr. Shruti told that the milk of Gir cow is of the A-2 category. Proline is found in it, which sharpens the brain, and protects against autism and neuro diseases. Along with reducing cholesterol, the potassium present in milk keeps sugar and blood pressure under control. Gir is an indigenous breed of Gujarat. The color is red. The forests of Kathiawar are believed to be the original place of this breed. This is the reason why this breed is called the Gir breed. Gir cow is known for producing nutritious milk. Its milk is considered to have golden elements.
