Two persons opened fire on a girl and her father for objecting to her harassment in Etah. According to police, "The incident happened yesterday when the girl, who was standing on her porch, was harassed and assaulted by the two accused, Alam and Niyaz Ali. They also beat up her father Bashir when he tried to stop them".

The both fled after allegedly opening fire at the man and his daughter, both of whom escaped without bullet injuries.

The victims filed an FIR with Etah police station and were sent to hospital for medical examination.

Circle Officer of Etah police station Nibesh Katiyar said, "No arrest has been made so far and investigation was underway".
