Girl commits suicide in Delhi, suicide note recovered

New Delhi: A B.Ed student has been hanged after being harassed by a young man in Bhajanpura area of north-east Delhi. The family admitted her to the hospital, but she lost her life on Monday after fighting for a week. During the investigation, the police has found a suicide note from the house of the dead. She has written about stalking and humiliation of family members by a young man from Loni. Based on the statement of the family and the suicide note, the police have started searching for the offences by registering a case of inciting suicide.

According to the information, the accused always chased and harassed her. On August 9, the offender followed her and came to the house. After that, the people started beating her. A lot of commotion started on that day. That led to a lot of notoriety for the family members of the student. Even after all that, the offender was harassing the victim. On October 12, the student hanged herself in her room. The family members admitted her to Swami Dayanand Hospital from where she was referred to RML Hospital but she died on Monday during treatment

The police examined the room and found a suicide note in a diary. In the note, the student apologized to the family and asked for stringent punishment for the offender. On the case, Deputy Commissioner of Police Ved Prakash Surya said that after investigation, the accused youth are continuously searching for the case of inciting suicide.
