New Delhi: In the Gandhi Nagar area of Shahdara a 21-month-old girl was raped by a 40-year-old man from her neighbourhood. The accused have been arrested.

The incident took place when the accused took the girl to his home. After raping her he left the victim baby at the entrance of girl house. The family found her bleeding from her private parts.

The police as per the sources news said 'They rushed her to a hospital nearby but she was in a critical condition and was referred to the LNJP hospital where she is undergoing treatment and is stated to be stable'
