In this case, SDOP Anil Tripathi said, "The 24-year-old girl hanged herself on November 1. Two years ago, she was married to a young man from Bagmugaliya. The case was of a newlywed, so the SDOP investigated and statements of the girl's family and younger brother were taken. During this time it came to light that the girl was tortured for dowry only after marriage.

In this case, it also came to him that, "It happened many times that the girl made a vegetable and after this, the sister-in-law put salt in it. People used to reprimand her for putting too much salt in the vegetable. She hanged due to the harassment. "The police has filed a dowry murder case against the girl's husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law and sister-in-law and soon more will be disclosed in this case.
