Yes , you read the title right. Here we are talking about a girl who was suffering from dreadful disease cancer at the tender age of fourteen and died winning a, one of its kind court case, to bring her back to life.

A 14 year old girl who was diagnosed with a peculiar kind of cancer last year was told that her life span is short and then she researched for the techniques online where dead bodies are frozen in a hope to be cured and brought back to life after 100 or 200 years. She discussed her wish with her parents, who are divorced , her mother backed her although her father was completely against the thought of his daughter's dead body to be frozen. She then seeked the help from the court.

Addressing the court in a heartwrenching letter she expressed, "I don’t want to die but I know I am going to...I want to live longer...I want to have this chance. I think being cryo-preserved gives me a chance to be cured and woken up, even in hundreds of years’ time. I don’t want to be buried underground. I want to live and live longer and I think that in the future they might find a cure for my cancer and wake me up.”

The Judge , Mr. Justice jackson who took the tough call descibed the girl as "brilliant and sensitive". As her mother had aided her decision she has told the court that only her mother can take the necessary resolutions regarding her dead body.

Soon after she died at London hospital she was given the permission to preserve her body cryogenically. She is one out of 10 Britons whose body is frozen after death.
