Lucknow: A youth in Up's Hardoi district has shot dead his girlfriend and has since killed himself. The bodies of the hijab-clad woman and her boyfriend were found in a room inside the ruined building of the Community Health Centre. The case is in the Bilgram Kotwali area. The discovery of two blood-soaked bodies together has created a sensation in the entire area, the police, who reached the spot in a fit of rage, has taken possession of the body and started the case proceedings. According to the information, the hijab-clad young woman and the young man had been having an affair for a long time.

Reports say the young woman was about to get married. That is why the lover first killed her and then killed herself. A pistol and a cartridge were also seized by the police near the bodies. After the identification of both the bodies, the police are claiming to have conducted a legal investigation into the entire case.

The deceased girl has been identified as Tabassum, a resident of Rafayatganj, while her lover's name is Shyam Kumar. Both of them lost their lives due to bullet injuries. A pistol has also been seized near the bodies of the two blood-soaked duos. Quoting the family members, the police said that the girl had left the house to get medicines and during this time, the youth took her to the ruined building and shot her to death there, after which she also shot herself to death. Police said that on May 16, the deceased girl was getting married and having an affair with the youth. The two had a dispute over marriage after which the boyfriend shot her and then later committed suicide.
